what is the lifespan of a laptop?
i'm using toshiba te2100 now.... was hospitalized mid of last year coz it had problem booting up (after one years old)... the service centre fella said something abt overheating....
hope my tobby can shun shun li li live to see at least one more birthday.... -

if with regular check-ups and housekeeping.......3 years shd be ok (under the limited warranty period)
however, the depreciation is high......with the newer and more powder models churning out at this rate......u probably oni get back 1/3 of ur buy price after a year......... -

the IBM notebook I used to have is still working fine after 3 years... the only problem is the company "upgraded" it for me to a desktop

for lifebook, it could last a little longer. but because of the advancement in the software, one normally changes it because of performancing issue. -
