Do you blame it on fate?

many a times, i overheard others making statements like:
"i guess i am not fated to do so."
"how much we earn and how much we eat are all predefined before we are born."
"it's yours, its yours."
such statements are made especially when one fails to accomplish something.
do you agree with them? -
sometimes jus haf to resign to fate....

i believe that... besides, my faith says that the Divine One gave us free will... to do what ever we wanted, with all the consequences of it...
if we were destined for anything, then, there is no such thing as free will or sentience -
...then again. there are many who see achievements as hard work but failures as something defined by fate.
