How do you do your filings?

  bills, warranties, receipts, official letters and etc.
  
  before NS, every piece of documents were bundled together. it would be a miracle to find anything dated 1 week back.
  
  then i came out with folders, dumping the correspondences into a few categories respectively.
  
  only during the recent years, i put them all in one folder, differentiating them by the alphabet of the companies names.
  
  so how do u guys do your filings? i prob would want to adopt a new/better method for the new year.

  read and tear method for junks and bills, esp from m1, singtel n SPowers......
  
  read and chuck (on side) method for official/impt letters

  i have but one file. everything goes in. i'll keep dumping stuff into it until i ROD, then i'll hand over to my understudy to sort out! wahahahahaha!!!

  hehe, anywayz, for my filings of personal bills, i got two paper bags, outstanding ones throw one bag, paid oredi mark it with paid & date paid then dump it in another bag.
  
  after nearly one year, go through the paid bag & throw away all if not impt liaow.

  lazy to go and file them lah...
  
  I have a bag where i hang on my wall. every bills or letters will be dumped into it...
  and i will clear it once in a while, to throw away my monthly bills and bank acc statements, etc. the impt letters, will stay in that bag.

  normally chunk my letters n bills one side, then one shot do filing when i'm free
  
  i got 2 files. one red one for all my bank statement (savings, current, debit card, etc). Another black one for bills (cos i can claim for it), insurance, employment (appointment letter, income tax statement), etc.
  
  also do filing for my parents too
  
  oops. am i the odd one out?
