Still remember how you get to know about sgforums?

this joint was initially known as jcgirls.com.
was attracted by a newpaper article about this pictorial site a few years back.
registered my current nick and before i got used to this place, i went abroad for some overseas commitment.
when i was back, jcgirls no longer exists as it was changed to sgforums.
not knowing that my nick still exists in the database (i couldnt even remember what was my old nickname), i registered with something new, only to be reminded subsequently about my former alias via an email broadcast.
you folks still remember what attracted you to this place? word of mouth or via other means?
which sub-forums were you actively participating when you first joined sgforums? -

Searching for Motorbike related stuff, found a link on the search engine, stumble on to the Racetrack forum and been here ever since.

was searching for 93.3fm forums in the end linked me to sgforum's 93.3fm sub forum~~ then hanged around at one place call dunno what outings one~~ after that i MIA till i returned to chit chat~~

some friend told me abt this site... umm... i lurked ard for some time b4 i signed up.. after dat, i showed Chu some farnie threads, and got her hooked as well.. hahahha...
but i went MIA for sometime, while Chu stayed on, made lotsa frenz, then SHE showed me some farnie threads and here i am stuck again...

was it becos of sggirls.com / i type the word forum in the search engine. very sian during attachment.. need to find some laughter to read to pass time... cant possible sleep the whole day in lab.

saw my fren surfing da bike forums n saw dat ppl there often organised outings... with all da free time on my hand i decided to come in n check it out a week later i registered because i wanted to reply to somethng in CC... da rest as they say... are hisssssstory...

Heard about this forum by word of mouth thru a friend. But wasn't too keen to look at it cos I never been one to post anything online.
But eventually, one fine day while surfing online for soccer news, I recalled abt this forum and I signed up after I read a few threads and I thought it was probably no harm signing up anyway. But I was stumped about what nick to use. Eventually, I decided to use Baseline cos it has something to do with my work/job.
Registered around March but did not post anything till around April. Along the way, post some nonsense and went to outing with The Sians. -

refugee from another place... which turned into scorched earth of an extended flamewar dominated by a few obnoxious people... soc.culture.singapore
i gave as good as i got there.. but after a while, flamewars cease to be fun especially when you were seriously trying to discuss a topic... and flaming started..
then my then-girlfriend found this.. i signed on a week after she did...
she's no longer active in here.. she hasn't been for ages...
i posted a few, then came back with a vengence somewhen in the first quarter of this year after parting ways with her...
it's much better in here than it was in soc.culture.singapore -

which sub-forums were you actively participating when you first joined sgforums? Was operating like Aunt Agony kind of sh|t (as usual) in another smaller scale relationship/love forum. Stumbled into sgforums Aunt Agony and read regularly, though only regularly posted slightly later. Sgforum is on the bigger scale and I get more serious, complicated and criticial issues to read and analysis.
