Yo.
I'm a avid fan of the supernatural and I enjoy leading small groups of friends to explore supposedly haunted places. However, times are changing and all the freaky places in Singapore are getting reclaimed by government one after another.
I still remember the times when I went to Old changi hospital, and snuck into a construction site to get to the commando barracks on the hills. The sheer energy of those places, like telling me to piss off, is very empowering. Lots of experiences too. Also, the scared/worried outcries of my companions xD Priceless
But recently, I tried getting to OCH again to hopefully explore more, that place is HUGE. But I arrived to find out that it has been perfectly fenced up with motion sensors everywhere. Plus they repainted it, really kills the thrills without the graffiti.
It then occured to me that these things won't remain forever. So now, in 2012, I want to know what are the spookiest places that are still around ??
I also don't mind going to Malaysia, as it is nearby.
The following are places I've been to:
Bukit Brown Cemetery : Interesting to see the fancy looking graves under the dim moonlight. The gurkha grave scared the piss out of me, cos I didnt notice it till it was right next to me. The air was also so dry that I could see my own breath. Really cool. And I'm shocked that people actually drive their cars within the cemetery instead of walking. Encountered 2 cars of NUS students, but no ghost. Very peaceful place, even with just 2 person.
Lim chu kang cemetery : Very peaceful place. I had a picnic there and we got drunk so didn't encounter anything creepy hahaha. I went to the chinese section.
Red House: Overhyped and full of cigarette buds everywhere. Left after feeding the Cigarette God statue some buds. Waste of time.
Underpasses in the middle of nowhere: I encountered these purely by chance, because my friends and I tend to trek along expressways. They are lighted but look very 1940s. Nothing special inside though.
Sungei Api Api: Abit creepy, like sometimes u hear stuff falling into the water. Also, Violent Mosquitos. But nothing outright supernatural.
Macritchie Reservoir: Tried looking for that water grave thingy. Couldn't find it ._.
Pitch black at 3 in the morning and our only torch spoil.
Anyone got more places that bored teens can go to?
Bedok Reservoir might be the latest one.
And I thought Tekong is one of the favourite spot where spooky stories are originated from, so you didn't BMT there before ?
Lastly I remember from the local show "The Incredible Tales" that there is an haunted hotel where an european lady was killed by her husband and her spirit still remained in that room. Through the hotel name was never revealed, you think you could still source it out. Do let us know the hotel 's name if you happen to have all the news and details.

We actually went to Bedok Reservoir, hoping to find bodies in the day time haha. Like I said, bored teenagers. Have yet to try it at night.
But I'm more interested in those kind of WW2 affected area, like OCH, where people died horribly in very concentrated spot. However we can't have everything can we.
And I'm still awaiting NS. Hoping to explore Tekong. I'll try my best regarding the hotel. Plz if anyone got more places just drop a reply here. Let people know about it.
Be careful what you wished for cos you just might get it all.. Good or bad. You are swimming in deep water with no life vest
