".......In the Eyes of the Beholder" sums up this raw element Humans require in order to discover Beauty deep within....
So how 'raw' is perceived as raw......???
It's when you can see nor hear what ur mind wants but to feel with what is being felt by the heart... -
What is Beauty?
Well, how hard a question this is....
For example
Shu Qi.
She does not have those pair of electrifying eyes that will send the current down your body the moment your eyes meet hers .
She does not have the sharp nose that sets neatly on the face that draws the jealousy out of all women.
A N D
It's not about her luscious full lips that seem to burn into the souls of all Mortal Men who will pay any price to have a taste of.
It's not about her slender and shapely legs that blend with her curves to form this alluring silhoutte nor the way she moves so sexily. It's SIMPLY how you picture Shu Qi. -
Does anyone carry a camera everywhere you go?
I DO literally many the times & figuratively all my life.....
Ever peep through the lens of the camera & marvels at the wonders it captures?

i guess that sums up the "beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder" theory.
wat if we rephrase it to "beauty lies in the heart of the beholder"?
i believe true beauty is felt, not seen.
and i'm not entirely talking about the "inner beauty" that pple speak off so fondly. i'm talking about physical things we see. yes we see them, but it's the FEELINGS that are invoked in our hearts that deems a sight beautiful.... we may feel happy, contented, glad, surreal even, and these are feelings, not images. -

i mean it could just be a breathtaking view of a lake with mountains beyond, or a skyline of a city like hongkong. i guess it depends on ur mood too, sometimes simple things like a colour will strike ur attn and take ur consciousness away for just that moment, no matter how fleeting.

I can never trust this good friend of mine to take any of the pictures.
Simply because she likes going out of focus with the camera and ends up taking the picture of the background instead of the supposedly objects/people.
The pictures taken by her all turned out to be abstract pieces, one can never quite understand the content of the photographs. Brilliant! And I take my hat off her. Hahaha.....She can Pisses me off SO much yet finding her Extremely funny.
Wat a Blur Queen she is. On the flip side of it, she always manages to blur her Life through and people around her adores her for that. Like her pictures, this abstract quality in her makes her lovable.

Discover the Beauty deep within....

by feeling deep within the heart
It's abt the Recognition & Appreciation
for their existence in this world.....
