Hi members,
With regard to this issue, has anybody started a thread on this? since I could not find it, I thought I could start a thread on this issue.
Should Singapore appeal through ICJ to prevent Malaysia and China to build this island, Singapore has a high chance of winning, since Malaysia has filed a charge against us for reclaiming land and that they failed to win against us for building a "half" bridge.

However I wonder if that is the best choice for Singapore to block a decision made by a Major power like China, because it may have unwanted effect when USA is no longer "pivoting" in SEA.
and if we do not. How could Singapore stay competitive economically and diplomatically with this increasingly competitive move by other nations.
That is really a major responsibility that our MFA has to take, to be shrewed and skilled enough to convince big nation to not take steps against Singapore's interest while making them think that, that is for their own benefit as well. Tough road ahead but we will make it. :D
our govt will settle lah u no need huan lo
then all the PRC will go to Malaysia instead coming to Singapore, isn't it a blessing to Singapore?
Will a strong presence of Chinese in Malaysia good for Malaysia, the mixing of Malay culture, Malaysian Chinese Culture and mainland Chinese culture? that is yet to be seen.
They can build whatever they want, as long as it is in Malaysia territory, there is nothing much we can do and need to do.
If Singaporeans are truely concerned, then make sure that they don't rush in to grap the properties there as if it is free, don't live there and expect Singapore immigration to make way for them to come easily every morning to compete with Singaporean in business and jobs in Singapore.

first find out where the reclaimation is made, then what is the impact on the marine life, the environment, this is purely from an Green Approach.
Don't blame the garment, it is when the citizens are stupid and naive, then the garment appears to be so important.
