I met singaporeans that bang me and give me a look that says I am in the wrong.
I have met pregnant women and old people that EXPECT people to give up their seats to them (when it is just a courtesy and NOT an obligation) without a single word of thanks
I think the attitudes of the locals are just as bad.
In fact, why aren't you complaining about the Indians, Filipinos, who are also flooding our islands? While many of the chinese are taking up lower income jobs, the Indians are eating your higher income jobs, and the Filipinos are here to take up 5000 jobs at the IR.
Your complaint should be modified to "Foreign Talent" problem, and NOT just PRCs.

I went to colombo(Sri Lanka) last year, for work. There is a small chinatown there..... filled with PRC and minor Singaporeans.
Even in India there are PRC....
Had to say this, as a matter of fact, the population of chinese is increasing, they are also producing more talents than any other countries due to the pressure of getting jobs in China.
Even our forefathers come from China, in search of better life. Why can't the younger generation from PRC do that?
Even there are a lot of ill-mannered PRC, there are also a lot of ill mannered locals especially the younger generations in Singapore.

I am asking if these chinese are from northern china. I notice northern chinese not very good in cooking southern chinese food. -
Some years ago I ordered something that looks exactly like a roti prata in Japan made by a Japanese chef and taste like.....I tell you I dont mind eating anything serve by anyone but it has to be the thing that I ordered in the first place.I know that guy has since stopped cooking anything inedible.

I went to China before.. and they have plenty of great food. Every province have their own specialty.
I also don't mind they bring delicious food style from China.
But , I really cannot stand China native cook Singapore style food. It's just doesn't come out right.
It's like Ang moh come and eat Western food in our Hawker center.

Actually he cooks Al Qaeda operatives alive to feed the pigs.What I was trying to say was that some Fish and Chips do taste aweful...and I know one hailam guy who is a big culprit.

on my way home,all i see is prc,prc,and more prc.
i take train in the evening,prcs push like mad,such that i had to literally tiptoe.naturally i pushed one prc,so that i can stand properly.he missed that particular train.
they talk as if they are shouting at each other on opposite sides of a football field.
ah well,too many things to talk about them. :/
