  LHL & GCT need not be PM.They can have good lives in the private sector.
  
  GCT once seemed to regret to become politicians. But when they have become PM,they wouldn't want to step down.
  
  Goh Keng Swee & Tony Tan stepped down willingly.But they were just DPM.
  
  LKY is another former PM who seem unable to retire from ploitics.

  When CJ and judges are appointed by PM,how can the judiciary be independent from the govt?I believe if the judiciary is truly independent,CJ should be chosen by the previous CJ or a judiciary commission.

  If u have good political ideas and are an honest person,don't be afraid to take part in politics.One good example is Ms Sylvia Lim who is a poly lecturer. Nothing unpleasant happened to her since she joined WP. In fact,her poly changed the rule to allow her to take part in politics.

  In principle, the govt should criminalise marital rape.Maybe it can be called forced marital sex.But such act might be difficult to proof in court.

  I think Philip Yeo is the best govt officer to be civil service head due to what he criticised on the civil service.I don't know him personally.

  The judiciary is independent.Why did Ministry of Law instead of the judiciary rebut the comment made by an international law body?
