      no more warranty...


      encountered some error and auto shut down...cant even log in to windows...


      so i tried installing my windows home ed on it...

      installation was ok but it did not cover the entire laptop screen...tried display...can only make it bigger with the resolution but still not whole screen...

      so now theres no more vaio stuff, toolbars inside...its the standard windows xp home...

      anyway to make it whole screen and can the in-built camera still work?

      the drivers in device manage all appear as ?...

      monitor settings cannot adjust anyting all greyed out...

      or i die die have to bring down to sony and pay the $100+?

      Judging from what you have said “the drivers in device manage all appear as ?...”, this means that you need to install the drivers for it. I’m sure you have the driver disc somewhere or you can just hop on to sony website to download it.
