Yes, there should be.
Western Digital is more reliable,if not for cheap price its Maxtor
my recc would be seagate.
If you want to get Maxtor, might as well get Seagate.
Oh, by the way, Western Digital has a booth. Walk in and turn right @ Level 6. It's the first booth near the exit.
From HWZ,
Maxtor 160GB HDD for $99
WD 500GB HDD for $150

Obvious thing is the physical size and price.
Kindly take a look at Seagate website for the difference.

Oh.. so for portable usage, Go is better
But Desktop looks more worth it leh. 500gb for $165. But it's not portable or what?
Simply plug in the power and the USB cable and you’re ready to go.
What ya think?
It's not really that portable and you will need to find a power point, otherwise, it won't work.

This is for Go or for all of them?
Desktop is cheaper, cause it's a 3.5 inch hdd. 3.5 inch hdds require a power source.
Go is for people who are always on the go. they norm only require a usb cable or 2 to power it up, but most prob it can be run from a power source too
Pro is also one that requires a power source.
If u want price,go for Maxtor Basic 160GB,which i pointed out was $99.
So far it's performing fine for me,but there seem to be people saying that its not very reliable.

Dunno if it's on sale at IT show leh. Have to double check
Hmm.. now i noticed tt WD is cheaper than seagate by approx 10bucks. but it's only 3 yr warranty but seagate got 5yr warranty.
seagate 2.5 inch one requires more current ...
