      I don't think the caning is a harsh one,i think just a light caning with clothing on,so should not be painful.

      Hmm... what if she say that she's a christain? Can they still cane her? Cos not muslim and not malaysian mah...

      Even if it is a Malaysia Christian, they will not punish him/her for drinking.

      Only Muslims ( Regardless from which country ) will be punished for drinking.

      You are right about her being allowed to wear her clothes, but it is still going to be painful either way.

      She deserved it.

       

      The caning she is going to get will be different from the rotan that we have in the singapore and malaysian prison system.

       she should take the punishment for her stupidity.

      is it me or do u guys agree i feel that malaysia always trying to pick on singaporeans.

      that time i on coach trip then suddenly we r stopped by a traffic police.then the driver go down and donno do wad.

      then singapreans always go malaysia then kenna robbed also

      The punishment is more effective if the buttocks are bared and the prisoner is bent forward and restrained. The culprit will quickly resolve not to commit the offense again, and will bcome a better person.  This woman will remember her caning for the remainder of her life.

      but it is very bold of her for wanting to be cane in public cuz the world needs to know what this stupid this punishment is for.
