    • hi as the title above says does anyone here got any feedback on this car model just pass my test was looking to get a car my choice is down to the civic 1.8 or the lancer ex 2.0

    • Sorry to hijack thread but since this is a mitsubishi thread, can I ask what's the sound coming out from an Evo whenever it changes its gear? A sharp and short "ossst". May I know too if all Evos have it? Thanks. (:

      As per my previous reply, it is possible the sound that you heard from the Evo comes from it's BOV, or Blow Off Valve. And as per the title of your video, HKS SSQV Blow Off Valve EVO 8

      taken from wiki

      A compressor bypass valve (CBV), also known as a compressor relief valve or diverter valve, is a vacuum-actuated valve designed to release pressure in the intake system of a turbocharged or centrifugally supercharged car when the throttle is lifted or closed.A blowoff valve, BOV does basically the same thing, but releases the air to the atmosphere.
