    • the 2nd step of the 3-step skincare regime
many ppl tend to neglect this step as there are often misconceptions on the effects of toner

      uses of toner:
`removes residue (in case ur cleanser does not do a thorough job)
      `tighten pores
`balance the pH of ur skin
      `provides hydration
u are advised to use alcohol-free toner

for ppl with oily skin, invest in a good hydrating toner and u can skip moisturiser

    • alcohol-free would be the best

alcohol will make ur skin dry in the long term
and will speed up the aging process

there are good alcohols and bad alcohols.
      read up here

    • for combi and/or sensitive skin, can use Rose Water + Witch Hazel

toner do help in preventing pimples as it balances the pH of the skin
but relying on toner alone is not enough
it shd work together with other parts of the skincare regime

    • witch hazel is safe for pimples-prone skin?

btw..the skincare regime, isit enough if i cleanse, tone and moisture?

another question is how u all use toner? i last time when use is pat wif cotton pat. but the cotton absorb the toner and the cotton will come off for my case. irritating…

      some said wipe?

    • cleanse, tone, moisturise - everyday (morning & night)
      scrub/exfoliate - once a week
      mask - 1 to 2 times a week (1 sheet mask, 1 wash-off or peel mask)

me use fingers (clean) to pat onto face
if is after removing makeup, use cotton pad and lightly wipe over face
dun have to wipe until like scrubbing toilet bowl
