NSman: Reservist OCS Conversion to be NS Officer?

Greetings,
I've been arrowed to go for OCS during reservist training.
Anyone has any idea during which stage of OCS I'll have to go in ? Certainly not tri-service ... but would it be 2nd service or professional term ?
Have yet to receive my SAF100, was told this by the S1 during the last ICT.
Btw, i'm already a 2SG and have gone for Platoon Sgt training. So would that mean I go straight to professional term ?

u mean ur pc gone, so u have to permanently take over his duties in ICT?

are u a teacher that is put in charge of NCC in school?
if so...then the conversion is very very short one lah...
but ur reservist is lengthened liao loh...congrats huh

aiya doesn't matter, i usually enjoy going back for reservist anyway. A good break from work
heng heng i'm a civil servant, so the boss doesn't complain about me having to go back
P.S. : to Mospeada, how short is short ? Heard it won't be any shorter than 2 mths though. Oh and btw, its not due to being in charge of NCC or anything lah, its just that there are insufficient NSmen Scout PCs. -

well actually my CO told me during the last ICT that they want to send me to OCC and I agreed.
But i've not received my SAF100 yet so not sure when it will be and for how long -
Perhaps since you're already a scout PS, might be you just have to learn the basics of a PC's role and leadership in the field.

actually i've already been taking on the role of scout PC for the past 2 ICTs and for the last 6 months of active (inclusive of 2nd ATEC)

Frankly i don't really think your conversion to go OCS is possible.i never seen NSmen cross over to OCS for training. Fancy being tekan by ppl who are younger than you, and as a PS trained specialist. You still need to do the ST 2 training and the full Pro term for infantry cadets.
Means 10 wks + 23 wks = 33 wks before u finish your course in OCS. which is 8 mths and 1 weeks long .. -
Very odd.. unless this is a new scheme.
The only reservist OCC i know of is the reservist MOCC, which is a 2 week (i think) course for the doctors who weren't MOs during their NSFs. -
Not true.I had a friend cross-over to become a officer in only 2-3 months.Same vocation before and after.

yep, first time hearing this also. Was a clerk that handle reservist during my NSF days, never heard of this also. Got send, 2SG/1SG for CSM course or SSGs for the warrant officer course, earmarked to become reservist RSMs but never heard send ppl for OCS officer course before.

ohh...dun need...u go straight to pro-term...
think its about 4 weeks course for reservist...they will teach you scout course and pc duties and role.
