    • I think he needs to justify why a 2-party unicameral parliament legislature cannot work.

Why should the PM want to give any reasons to justify that "2 party system cannot work in Singapore" ?

To given any justification will simply give the opportunity of counter-reasons that will expose the weakness in his reasons.

Suffice to say that the cause for him stating that a "2 party system cannot work in Singapore" - is due largely to self-interest of his Father, his own position, and that of his Political Party.

At a personal level, he has already indicated in the last Election, that a 2 party system will take his precious time away from more important tasks of extracting more money, which will make it necessary for him to 'FIX' the other Party.

    • What's the fuss with this thread?

Is it lost on any sane, rational soul that Iran, North Korea, Turkmenistan, Libya, Cuba, Eritrea, China, Vietnam and Myanmmar too are prime examples of countries that "cannot work" with two parties. tongue.png

Now, what does this regime have in common with those illustrious folks above?

      "Appeal Fallacies

Appeal Fallacies fail due to use of pleas and appeals rather than valid logic."

What can Singaporeans do when you have dishonorable despots determined to take as much public money as possible and take as much money from the public as possible?

Not much, except to curse them with the worse form of cancer for themselves, their childrena and their grandchildren.

Enough people curse them, whether they like it or not, they will have to step down...

If he can resign together with his father and the holy goh, because as he said, "internal change/renewal when mistakes are made" I say he has a point. When idiots and retards insists that no one else can do the job even after they make mistakes after mistakes and bring the country on the verge of collapse, to say that "two party system cannot work" is just illogical and self serving.

On the other hand, for a two party system to work in a despots run country, the people must support martyrs like Dr Chee Soon Juan or else the "other party" will not be able to attract good people into their fold.

Is this a warning to Singaporeans that PAP is ending elections and turning his father into the King of Singapore and elections will take place only within the party?

The reseves that Singaporean worked so hard for will now belong to the King?

This is what happens when the people turned a blind eye to the persecution of dissidents and opposition.

    • Show the delusional that without the support of the people the country cannot work and without free and fair elections, the people cannot support the people governing over them.

Show them what Singaporeans can do. (click to link: Singapore's People Power)
