    • They had not address the issue and answered the question.  They are simply hiding behind and avoiding the most important question!!

If their so called "forward fuel pricing" policy and methods are "professional enough" then they should have an answered how the Oct to Dec 08 , projected crude oil price to be US$155 base on only July 2008 oil price? Not an average for July to Sep 2008 where the later 2 months shows oil price decline.

Can and EMA comes out with regulation to project things without real fact and reflect the present situation?

I think the both of them is either step out to give a convincing explaination or apologise for their damn mistake.  If the coming 3 months shows crude oil prices arrow southward which is 180° differences from their stupid prediction, and/or out by more then 20%, they should step down and get out.  Let someone more responsible personnel to be incharge instead.

Singapore do not defy the law of gravity so dont try to be smart.  Here I am getting more support from readers to add your post of this petition.  Let the press relay the message to them and get prepare.

The more petition the better and to make this a geniune petition as a start to tell all this people ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!!!!!!!!!! WE WANT OUR LIFE BACK!!!!!!!!!!

      Mine the FIRST VOTE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    • you can vote all you want.. ever since the Prime Minister's husband sold the power stations to foreigners and effectively privatised the whole lot, the only things the corporations recognise is the bottom line...

    • The person in power believes that the main point is how to improve from a problem, and not finding who is responsible.  In another words, let's move on.

The only chance that these 2 fellows will be sacked is when their superior made a very serious mistake and cannot hide at all.  He will push the blame to the 2 of them and sacked them so that he himself can continue to enjoy high salary, high bonus, high allowanace, high benefits and most important of all, high pension.

FYI, the average price of crude oil in June 2008 was USD 126.33, what was the kwh price of electricity then?

We have also seen the price of crude shooting up to USD 150, what was the price of electricity then?

Currently the price of crude oil is approximately USD 90, shouldn't the price of electricity have gone down instead of up 21%. Then again, more than 80% of our electricity generation is by natural gas, why price it against crude oil which is more volatile?
