    • LHL & GCT need not be PM.They can have good lives in the private sector.

GCT once seemed to regret to become politicians. But when they have become PM,they wouldn't want to step down.

Goh Keng Swee & Tony Tan stepped down willingly. But they were just DPM.

LKY is another former PM who seem unable to retire from ploitics.

    • I agreed with alwaysdisturbed.

      Look at Ah Bian.

That is why the old man is holding on to special power so that he will not be sued.

Power corrupts and no one is a saint.

    • In Singapore, there are more advantages to be politicians than in commercial sector.   In politics, there is no end in money making from the people.     In business, when times are down, business is affected.   Being politicians in Singapore, business still goes on during bad times and profits will soar with the coming transport fares increment by 3% instead of 1% to 2% last year.

Ah yew said retirement means death, he will not retire.  He said that if possible he wants to stop retirement in Singapore.     May be if he retires, all dirt will surface once he loses power, huh ha.

Yes.    Retirement means no more filthy obscene pay in the bank every month.   Retirement means no control, power, authority for him.    He can't survive without being dictator.   A dictator, always a dictator even to/on the day he dies.

He can get his pension wat.. pension is money.. but no need to work anymore....

It is rather obvious..to Senior Lee.... his son LHL is too incompetent to fully take over.

He is actually insulting his own son.

I trust Senior Lee, so now I also have no confident in LHL.

Believe part of the reason is because of the hopeless son.   Frankly, like it or not, LKY was a much better PM than the hopeless son.   In Cantonese, we say "hmm chang hey".

    • Our PMs are not man, they are "power slaves",and once you are a slave of something, like "money slave" etc.You basically have no life of your own and get looked down by the others.

Thats why LKY,LHL and boot-licker GCT get fuked by so many Singaporeans at coffee shop discussion, websites, taxi and daily gossips at work or home area.
