You can this national day continue to be kiasu and let the despots cut your wages or you can show the despots your middle finger by supporting Dr Chee Soon Juan and Mr JBJ even more when they are persecuted for speaking up for you.

      From SDP website:

      Dear Friends and Supporters,

We are fighting for a better future for Singapore. We want a government that is democratic, transparent and accountable to the people, and one that respects and listens to the opinions of all Singaporeans. Only when the people are free to organize, speak and publish openly, and vote without fear can our future as a nation be assured.

As you know, we face difficult circumstances. The PAP has imposed severe limits upon us to ensure its hold on power. But we are moving in the right direction.

We know what we stand for and how we'll succeed. Every month brings new members and supporters who are willing to persevere, go the extra mile, and take the knocks. We will continue to stand up and speak out, and we will continue to do what it takes to bring freedom and justice to our country.

But to keep moving forward, we need financial support: for advocacy, research, public outreach and training. Without funds, our goals will be out of reach. If you believe in what we are doing, support us by contributing to the cause.

We dedicate ourselves to working for a country in which we all have a voice. We want to make Singapore a beacon of democracy and progress that we all know it can become.

Democracy needs your support. We need your support. Please act now.

      The Singapore Democrats

Well, it depends on what type of job that u r compare with
But for me, generally, the wage in Australia is higher than Singapore.

Because Australia is an Ang Mo country, the wage there is quite the same compare to US, UK and Canada, just that, the population is only 20 millions plus, 5 times more than Singapore, but with a land of 11000 times bigger than Singapore, the human resources is limited.

The dirty works like plumber, cleaner and because of its 4 season weather country, so, I heard some undergraduate earn more than $ 3000 in summer work as street cleaner or grass cutter.

So, not surprisingly, Australia deliver the higher wage than Singapore.

Back to your question, 18 years old male or female...?

And keep in mind that, when a male in Singapore reach the age of 18 years old, usually this is the time that they have to serve the national service. So, they have no time to look for a job and dear, the NS pay is just for surviving.

      Hope that answer your question.

Why are Australian wages higher? They do not let dishonorable despots get away with persecuting opposition and dissidents.

The conclusion is clear, support people that the despots try to destroy or you suffer poor wages and high costs.

This national day, it is time to take back the country from the despots, the foreigners the despots bring in and the foreigners the despots support and lose billions to.

Let this National Day be remembered as the day Silliporeans become Singaporeans once again.

Personally, you don't sound peaceful at all.

You sound like you're filled with a lot of frustration.

Sure, I hate it when despots use their power to persecute others. Where is the justice? If one loses his sense of justice, then he is like the animals.

...as long as Silliporeans do not stand up for victims of dishonarable people, they suffer wage cuts, high costs and suffer second class status to foreigners in their own country.
