From past experience, we know that these depots have no qualms raising their own million dollars salaries with public money and cutting Singaporeans wages when their policies of pushing up prices makes a contraction in the Singapore economy due to world events, even worse than necessary.

 

So in order to prevent them cutting our wages (the last round was a cut in employers' CPF contribution), what preventive measures can be done?

Also, while we are at it, maybe in order that their propaganda does not fool everyone, any suggestions what else could be done besides cutting Singaporeans' wages?

 

Cause rentals to come down? Cut the price of basic necessities? Lower hidden taxes, like the petrol taxes? Cut the government budget and pass the savings to the economy?

it is quite sad for people to be bought over by money.

why not get the best of both worlds? take the money the government has to offer ( treating in bear that it is gahmen money, not PAP money), then u can go ahead and vote oppo....

that way, it will send a msg to them that money doesn't always work. people want a good government, not one which bribes the voters when it comes to election time, and then raise all sort of funny taxes to recoup back their bribes.

The despots might do a underhand wage cut like cutting CPF or increase the number of foreigners to force wages down.... be aware and careful of the dishonorable despots!!!!

But I didn't get my wage cut, in fact I will get a pay rise in coming January if I still stay with my current job!

Me last month got wage increase liao, come january another wage increase again and so on...that is how you motivate yourself, my Dad set the KPI, i follow it and make profits, then i get the increase lor, nothing to do with despots and PAP lah.

 

Anyway, me boss mah, can anytime increase myself.

Since they dare to raise electricity prices so much when oil has fallen from so high, surely these asspots will dare to cut the silliporeans' wages... for what can silliporeans do?
